Wine Review: This white gold colored Chardonnay opens with an oak influenced lemon verbena and chamomile tea bouquet with hints of butter and apple blossom. On the palate, this wine is light to medium bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, bright and fresh for Chardonnay. The flavor profile is chamomile tea and almond blend with notes of lemon verbena and oak. We also detected hints of pineapple, Anjou pear, and chalky minerality. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. I would pair this Chard with Emeril's crab cakes. Enjoy – KWGTP
