Wine Review: Mouthwatering and fresh, this pale straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand, starts with a fragrant bouquet with aromas white grapefruit, lemongrass, wet slate, and a hint of tangerine. On the palate, there is a supple and round mouthfeel. There is integrated medium-plus acidity, and a medium body. I found it to be quite zesty, but polished. There are flavors of pink grapefruit, white peach, lime zest, and saline with a hint of mango and a light fresh herbal note. The finish is sleek, bright, and very long. Serve with grilled pesto shrimp. - Mark
