Wine Review: This ruby colored Cabernet based blend was well liked by the Tasting Panel. It opens with a red raspberry and red currant bouquet with hints of vanilla and oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, elegant and smooth. The flavor profile is a mild mineral infused cherry with notes of gentle oak, coffee and red plum. The finish is dry and its mild tannins drift away nicely. The panel thought this wine would be ideal with a pot roast. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: This soft, easy-drinking Cabernet is a good introduction to the vintage, and while it will improve over the course of three to eight years, it is not a wine intended for long-term cellaring.
