Wine Review: This light yellow colored Chardonnay from Ramey is very good. It opens with a light oak and lemon bouquet with a hint of honey. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a mineral infused lemon with notes of oak and pineapple. I also detected hints of honey and almond. The finish is dry and its flavors linger and last for a while. This Chard would pair well with chicken cordon bleu. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Coming from special vineyard sites, our Chardonnays show great depth of flavor, length of finish, aromatic complexity, and a fine balance between richness and delicacy. Typically, the climate is cool and the soil vigor low, producing graceful yet vibrant wines. This is our second bottling from this new site.
