Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Oakville finished tied for 3rd place in our recent Big Blind Tasting. It opens with a mild black cherry bouquet with hints of Earl grey tea and leather. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, very nicely balanced, smooth, elegant and silky. The flavor profile is a very tasty black cherry and milk chocolate blend with notes of nicely integrated mild oak and touch of coconut. The finish is dry and its refined moderate tannins sail away nicely. The Tasting Panel suggested pairing this impressive Cab with a filet mignon or blackened tuna. Enjoy - KWGTP
