Wine Review: This bright yellow colored single vineyard Chardonnay from Ramey opens with a faint banana and mild creme brulee bouquet with a hint of pineapple. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, slightly acidic and elegant. The flavor profile is a tasty mild oak and apple blend with hints of minerality, lemon-lime and grapefruit. The finish is dry and its tannins drift away nicely. The panel suggested pairing this very nice Chard with chicken and wild mushroom ravioli with a light cream sauce. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The Platt Vineyard is our coolest site, producing wine that is more focused and mineral driven than fruit driven.
