Wine Review: This dark ruby colored red blend opens with an inviting mild boysenberry and black currant bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic, savory and juicy. The flavor profile is a tasty black cherry with notes of black raspberry. I also detected a hint of oak and pomegranate in the background. The finish is dry and its flavors linger well after the wine is gone. It paired perfectly with beef bourguignon. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This soft, easy-drinking Cabernet is a good introduction to the vintage, and while it will improve over the course of three to eight years, it is not a wine intended for long-term cellaring.
