Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Chenin Blanc from South Africa opens with a mild honey and quince bouquet with hints of green apple, wet gravel and nutmeg. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied, balanced, soft and easy to drink. The flavor profile is tasty mild mineral infused light lemon with notes white tea and Anjou pear. We also detected a hints of honeydew melon and caramel green apple. The finish is dry and its flavors and pleasant acidity fade away nicely. The Panel would pair this Chenin Blanc well-chilled with raw bar or at the beach with a cheese platter with crackers. Enjoy – KWGTP
