Wine Review: This pale straw colored Chenin Blanc opens with a faint grapefruit bouquet with a hint of clementine. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, pleasantly acidic, a tad round and nicely coats your mouth. The flavor profile is a tasty spiced Anjou pear with notes of nicely integrated minerality and nutmeg. I also detected hints of white pepper and mild pineapple. The finish is dry and refreshing. I found this wine to be very food friendly and I would pair it with pan-fried rainbow trout drizzled with butter. Enjoy - Ken
