Wine Review: This very pale hay colored Sauvignon Blanc from Quintessa opens with a very fragrant gooseberry and gentle white grapefruit bouquet with hints of gardenia, marshmallow, and lemon tea. On the palate, this wine is very light bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, airy, delicate, fresh, and shows very nice finesse. It almost floats in your mouth. The flavor profile is mild lemon tea and gentle white grapefruit blend with notes of saline and lime zest. We also detected hints of passionfruit, tangerine, and white pepper. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. We would enjoy and sip this excellent Sauvignon Blanc on its own on the porch on a warm summer day. With food, we would pair it with broiled bay scallops, stuffed sole, or with sushi. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: An extraordinary white, with details of beeswax, honeysuckle and lanolin giving way to succulent white peach, nectarine, and lemon curd flavors on a plush, juicy frame. Shows details of marmalade and candied ginger, with hints of litsea oil and lemon balm that linger on the long, expressive finish. Drink now through 2035.
