Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark ruby colored red blend from Portugal opens with a mild blackberry bouquet with a hint of new leather. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and has a nice mouthfeel. The flavor profile is a mild black cherry with notes of gentle minerality. I also detected hints of plum, craisin and a dash of cinnamon. The finish is dry and its mild tannins stick around for a while. This is an easy to drink and good value red blend that would pair nicely with a juicy Angus burger. Enjoy - Ken
