Wine Review: This clear medium red colored Carignane from Post & Vine opens with a mild red plum and craisin bouquet with hints of cedar and violets. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is juicy red plum and stone dust blend with notes of tart red cherry and orange zest. We also detected hints of cranberry, stony minerality, and cedar. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and moderate dusty tannins build-up and are nicely extended. We would pair this Carignane with coq au vin or Hungarian goulash. Enjoy - KWGTP
