Wine Review: This ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Post & Beam opens with a mild black currant and gentle black cherry bouquet with hints of oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is round, well-balanced, and very easy to drink. The flavor profile is a tasty mild stony mineral and gentle black currant blend with notes of black cherry and mild cedar. I also detected hints dried herbs and a touch of mocha. The finish is dry, and its fine tannins are nicely prolonged. This Cab will not last long and would pair nicely with a filet mignon. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: A perfume of wild raspberry preserves with hints of clove and confectionary spice envelops the nose. Round and textured on the palate, the entry is layered with soft red fruit flavors, supported by leather, cassis and elegant botanical accents on the mid-palate and lovely notes of toasted espresso beans on the finish.
