Wine Review: This big red wine blend from the Columbia Valley in Washington is slightly opaque and dark purple in color. It opens with a very fragrant blackberry bouquet with hints of mild oak and black cherry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, very well balanced, and satiny. The flavor profile is a mild oak infused black cherry with hints of plum and sprinkled black pepper as well. The finish is dry and its building tannins are impressive and go on for quite some time. This wine would be perfect with a grilled ribeye for Grill 23. Cheers - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Deep and dark in color, this unfiltered and unfined wine offers a generous spectrum of aromas and flavors including black cherry, sweet spices and a hint of earth. The mouthfeel is silky and refined with a rich core of ripe fruit that provides a lengthy finish.
