Wine Review: This pale straw colored Chenin Blanc and Viognier blend opens with a pear and ginger bouquet with a hint of vanilla. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, pleasantly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a mineral influenced yellow grapefruit with notes of lime. I also detected hints of almond and tangerine. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity linger for quite a while. This wine would pair well with pan-fried trout with butter and lemon.
