Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon based wine from Argentina opens with a black currant and smoky wood bouquet with hints of craisin and tobacco. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, fresh, and savory. The flavor profile is red currant and cedar blend with notes of red plum and chalky minerality. I also detected hints of dried herbs and raspberry tea. The finish is dry and its flavors, acidity, and low to moderate tannins are nicely extended. I would pair this red blend with lamb lollipops. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: With a deep cherry red color, it has notes of menthol, cherries, tobacco, spices and true. Complex both on the nose and the mouth, it has a refreshing acidity and silky tannins. Full-bodied and structured, notes of cassis appear on the palate with a long finish. It is distinguished by its complexity and elegance.
