Wine Review: This slightly cloudy and dark garnet colored Cabernet Sauvignon based wine from Phase V is awesome! It opens with a shy cinnamon and vanilla bouquet with hints of menthol and roses. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is beautifully balanced, silky, seamless, and sensual. The flavor profile is a delicious blend of gentle cassis and stone dust with notes of blueberry and oak. We also detected hints of mild black tea. The finish is dry, and its refined and polished tannins are nicely extended and linger. The Tasting Panel would pair this impressive Cab with lamb lollipops. Enjoy – KWGTP
