Wine Review: This pale pink colored wine made by Peyrassol opens with a pleasant faint strawberry bouquet with hints of wet stone and lime. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic, delicate and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a mineral infused mild strawberry and Maraschino cherry blend with hints of lime and green tea. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This Rose from Cotes de Provence would pair well grilled mahi-mahi. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Pale in color, with soft rose-tinted overtones, Chateau Peyrassol radiates freshness. Its subtle nose of citrus, vine peach, apricot and fine floral notes is inviting. It has a beautiful, dense palate, delicate and lively, and is notable for its balance and full body, punctuated by a long, fruity finish. It is the perfect accompaniment to fish soups, carpaccio's and all varieties of grilled fish.
