Wine Review: This light yellow colored entry level Chardonnay is a good value white wine. It opens with a mild apricot and gentle pineapple bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and easy to drink. The flavor profile is not a traditional Chard. Instead it is gentle pear with hints of tangerine and pineapple. The finish is dry and fades way nicely. This is a good white wine for a good price. It is food friendly and would pair well with shrimp scampi. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Pepi Chardonnay has bright Fuji apple and peach aromas with touches of sweet vanilla. Full-bodied and rich, this Chardonnay’s mouth-filling palate is bursting with flavors of fresh apple, creme brulee and sweet pear. Our Chardonnay is a perfect match with cream sauce pastas as well as fish and chicken dishes.
