Wine Review: This pale straw colored Sauvignon Blanc from the Dry Creek displays 100's of very tiny bubbles when first poured. They dissipate as you enjoy it fragrant yellow grapefruit bouquet with hints of stone fruit and flinty wet stone. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, a little acidic and zesty. The flavor profile is a tart yellow grapefruit with notes of lemon-lime. I also detected hints of peach pit a dash of white pepper. The finish is rather dry and refreshing. This Sauvignon Blanc would pair well with grilled swordfish kabobs. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Aromatic with citrusy and grassy aromas, very varietally correct. The fresh flavors are layered with Meyer lemon, peach, and apple highlighted by a minerality and crisp taste. Our Sauvignon Blanc is quite refreshing and tangy with bright acidity. Please enjoy upon release or within a year or two as no aging is required.
