Wine Review: This ruby colored Zinfandel from Peachy Canyon is a bit of a quaffer. It opens with a cinnamon and red currant bouquet with a hint of loganberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and fruit forward. The flavor profile is red plum and cherry with notes of vanilla oak. The finish is dry and its integrated mild tannins drift away nicely. The Panel suggested pairing this Zin with a Thanksgiving sandwich or BLT. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Flush with ripe, dark fruit, and rich baking spices, the 2015 Westside is a bold and varietally true Zinfandel. The bottle opens with aromas of blackberry, clove, and a cabinet's worth of anise, allspice, nutmeg, and cocoa. On the palate, look for strawberry, huckleberry, and dessert spices like vanilla and clove. Lush fruit and supple tannins lend structure to this delectable Zin.
