Wine Review: This very dark purple colored Petite Sirah from Peachy Canyon was very well received by the Tasting Panel. It opens with a blackberry jam bouquet with a hint of licorice, cedar, and black pepper. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and juicy. The flavor profile is a slightly tart blackberry and plum blend with notes of mild vanilla oak and hints of black cherry and strawberry licorice. The finish is dry and its acidity and mild tannins drift away nicely. The Panel would pair this Petite Sirah with grilled steak tips. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Inky purple in color, this opulent Petite Sirah leads with aromas of cocoa, anise, pepper, cherry, plum, and blackberry popping from the glass. The tannins on the palate are round and expansive, accentuated by ripe blackberry, lilac, and an exceptionally full-bodied structure.
