Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet and Syrah blend opens with a unique fruity Concord grape and chocolate bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a ripe red plum and red grape blend with notes of oak. I also detected hints of coffee and cinnamon. The finish is dry and its medium tannins drift away nicely. This wine would pair well with teriyaki steak tips. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This careful combination of Bordeaux and Rhône varietals creates a bouquet of flowers and clove on the nose. Then rich tannins spring forth on the palate with notes of strawberry and baking spices.
