Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Zinfandel from Peachy Canyon opens with a black tea and plum bouquet with hints of Mission fig. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a black raspberry with notes of black licorice and black pepper. Towards the end, we detected some hints of oak, chocolate and espresso that shows up. The finish is dry and its dusty tannins and flavors linger for a while. The Panel suggested pairing this Zin with a bacon burger. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Look for black cherry, blackberry, plum, and tar on the nose. Then this full, jammy Zinfandel will open up with concentrated notes of blackberry, briarberry, black pepper, and cocoa that culminate into a long finish.
