Wine Review: This pitch black colored Petite Sirah from Peachy Canyon opens with a black raspberry and licorice bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, rich and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a black raspberry and fig blend with notes of oak. We also detected hints of prune, coffee and a touch of rum cake. The finish is dry and its medium tannins drift away nicely. The Panel suggested this could be a nice sipper at the end of the night or pair it with pecan pie for dessert. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Dark purple and inky in color, this opulent Petite Sirah leads with aromas of plum and sage popping from the glass. Subtle and complex notes of black truffle and fresh mint, which add to the depth of character. The tannins are round and expansive, accentuated by ripe blackberry, lilac and an exceptionally full-bodied structure.
