Wine Review: This slightly opaque and deep ruby colored Petite Sirah from Peachy Canyon opens with a fragrant black cherry and black raspberry bouquet with hints of graphite, cedar and menthol. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and rich. The flavor profile is a concentrated plum with notes of oak and blackberry. We also detected a hints of blueberry and chocolate. The finish is dry and its big dusty tannins last for quite some time. The Panel suggested pairing this Petite Sirah with a NY strip steak by the fireplace with dark chocolate for dessert. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Darkly purple and inky in color, this opulent Petite Sirah leads with aromas of plum and sage popping from the glass. Subtle and complex notes of black truffle and fresh mint add to the depth of character. The tannins are round and expansive, accentuated by ripe blackberry, lilac, and an exceptionally full-bodied structure.
