Wine Review: This ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Paso not your typical Cab. It is more of a fruit bomb Zin. It opens with a pomegranate and red raspberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and very fruit forward. The flavor profile is a ripe red plum with notes of cherry-cola and pomegranate. I also detected hints of pomegranate. The finish is dry and its flavors linger and last for quite a while. This fruity Cab would pair nicely with tangy pulled pork and savory baked beans. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Chocolate-covered mints with an earthy, mushroom aroma, along with vanilla and toasty oak spice. Hidden black fruits lurk behind all the earth and mint. A complex juicy mid-palate combines perfectly with a fruity, earthy finish.
