Wine Review: This wine returns to the winners circle for the second vintage in a row. This year this Zin is dark ruby colored and opens with a fragrant red currant bouquet with hints of leather, mint, earth, and orange peel. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, savory, fruit forward and shows nice intensity. Several panelists stated that this was classic Zin. Its flavor profile is a spicy red raspberry with notes of black pepper and blackberry. The finish is dry, tingly and a tad sticky. The panel suggested pairing this impressive Zin with a pork roast or prime rib. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Toasty vanilla, smooth, nice mouth feel, blueberries, raspberries, black pepper, smoky meats, hints of chocolate covered strawberries, blackberries & cherries.
