Wine Review: This Zin rocked our tasting panel and took first place in the big blind tasting. It is very dark ruby and opens with a fragrant black cherry bouquet with notes of chocolate and a hint of blueberry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, nicely balanced, very smooth and almost velvety. The flavor profile is a tasty blueberry with milk chocolate and boysenberry mixed in. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins show nice length. The pair suggested pairing this terrific Zin with a pan seared ribeye or a veal chop. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: This wine is made up of big Zinfandel characteristics along with the essence of terrior. Full of spice, black pepper, raspberries and vanilla are the upfront aromatics. The palate is made up of blueberries, blackberries and mild earth notes. Bright acidity and mild fruit tannins give the wine longevity.
