Wine Review: This straw colored Albarino from Rias Baixas opens with a faint honeydew melon bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, slightly acidic and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a mild mineral influenced Anjou pear with hints of white pepper and green apple. The finish is dry and subtle. This Albarino is very quaffable and it will not last long. Bring it to a picnic on a hot summer day and enjoy it with grilled weisshurst. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Attractive lemon-yellow color with flashes of green. On the nose, there are fruity, citrus, and floral aromas. On the palate, the wine is smooth; the acidity is perfectly integrated with the alcohol. The persistent finish shows fruit with some lingering minerality.
