Wine Review: I always wanted to try this wine and had the opportunity recently. It met all my expectations. It is a deep dark yellow color and opens with a very attractive crème brulee. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, well balanced, and creamy. The flavor profile is a mineral infused light green apple and butter. There is also a hint of nicely integrated light oak on the back palate. The finish is dry and elegant and ligers slightly. This is a very food friendly Chard that is quite versatile and would pair well with lemon drizzled grilled swordfish. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The Dinner Vineyard, source of the stunning, opulent chardonnay on which we founded our portfolio, finds dramatic expression with the 2007 vintage. A true 'wow' wine with a lustrous white gold hue, it exhibits lively aromatics of spiced apple, lemon custard, and orange blossom. Firmly-structured, viscous and silky, The palate comes alive with well-articulated flavors of pear, dulce de leche and citrus oil. The finish is spicy and nuanced with a seductively smoky minerality.
