Wine Review: This ruby red colored Pinot Noir from Oregon's Umpqua Valley opens with an earthy plum and black raspberry bouquet with notes of smoky oak and herbs. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, smooth and lively with integrated tannins and acidity. The flavor profile is a blend of plum, black cherry, and black tea along with some chocolate notes. The slightly dry finish lingers nicely. I would recommend pairing this nice Pinot Noir with a glazed ham with all the fixings! - Joe
Winemaker Notes: This wine opens with cherry and raspberry fruit which gives way to notes of truffle and sandalwood. Mouthwatering acidity and silky tannins make this a great pairing with cedar planked salmon or wild mushroom pizza.
