Wine Review: This yellow colored Chardonnay is terrific. It opens with a pear bouquet with hints of musty oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and very flavorful. Those flavors are a very tasty oak infused apple and pear blend with notes of buttered popcorn. I also detected hints of ginger towards the end. The finish is dry and its flavors last for quite some. This very very good Chardonnay would pair well with lobster casserole. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: These vines grow under the thoughtful watch of the Ross Family farmhouse, built in the late 1850’s. Originally planted to grape vines and peach trees, the property’s gently rolling hills provide a nurturing environment for our vines. Stylish and refined, this opalescent Chardonnay boasts aromas of green apple, key lime pie, white peach, honeysuckle and toasted brioche. The texture on the palate is fresh and vibrant with notes of red apple and jasmine echoing through a very lengthy finish.
