Wine Review: This white gold colored Spatlese level from Paul Anheuser blew away our mini tasting group. It opens with an inviting apple bouquet with a hint of peach. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, pleasantly sweet and appealing. The flavor profile is a delicious blend of mild apricot and peach with nicely integrated minerality and a hint of grapefruit. The finish remains sweet and its flavors linger nicely. This Riesling is top notch, a great deal and would pair well with smoked cheddar cheese. Enjoy - Ken
