Wine Review: This very pale straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from Patent opens with a very fragrant yellow grapefruit and passion fruit bouquet with hints of asparagus and peach. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is round, slightly viscous, zesty, and bright. The flavor profile is passion fruit and honeydew melon blend with notes of yellow grapefruit and lime zest. We also detected some hints of chamomile tea, spice, and white peach. The finish is dry and refreshing. The Tasting Panel would pair this Sauvignon Blanc with swordfish skewers. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Brilliant appearance. Pale straw/golden color. Clean and fresh aromatics with apricot/applesauce with nutmeg and cinnamon, vanilla, and a touch of almond, oats, and barley. Hint of melon and flint. Tangy, mouth-coating, and balanced. Mineral throughout with some tropical and citrus qualities.
