Wine Review: This pale copper colored Rosé from Pasqua opens with a ruby grapefruit and peach pit bouquet with hints of tangerine, cantaloupe, and apricot. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, slightly creamy and clean. The flavor profile is crushed stone and white peach blend with notes of honeydew melon and saline. We also picked up some hints of tangerine and grapefruit pith. The finish is dry, refreshing and drifts away nicely. The Tasting Panel would serve this Rosé slightly chilled at a picnic with shrimp ceviche, a grilled salmon burger, or with a peach cobbler. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The Corvina varietal, which dominates in terms of percentage, was chosen for the floral aromas as well as the significant acidity it gives to the wine. Trebbiano brings elegance and a long finish; Syrah gives fine fruit and spicy notes to the glass and finally, Carmenère creates structure, ensuring stability over time. This is a fresh, enveloping Rosé with an intense and complex bouquet, created to accompany spring or summer evenings and more.
