Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon based blend from Paraduxx opens with a black cherry and boysenberry bouquet with hints of cedar and black licorice. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and seamless. The flavor profile is a marionberry and blackberry blend with notes of cedar and dark chocolate. I also detected hints of black pepper and mild black licorice. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and dry tannins stick around for quite some time. The Tasting Panel would pair this Cab blend with a rib roast. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: The Paraduxx Proprietary Red Wine is a bold and expressive blend crafted to satisfy the modern palate. The 2021 vintage produced a beautifully polished and potent expression of Paraduxx's flagship red blend, with aromas of spiced blueberry, blackberry, licorice, and lavender, as well as hints of flint and sandalwood. The luxurious dark berry layers are echoed on the palate, where they are framed by robust tannins, with notions of black cherry, cocoa, lilac, and anise emerging throughout a long, mouth-filling finish.
