Wine Review: This medium garnet colored Zinfandel opens with a blackberry and gentle oak bouquet with hints of red currant and nutmeg. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied and pleasant acidity. We also found it to be very juicy and fruit forward. This flavor profile is strawberry and red raspberry blend with notes of gentle oak and crushed stone. We also detected hints of hoisin and white pepper. The finish is dry and its flavors and tannins are very nicely extended. The Panel would pair this rich Zin with beef brisket. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: The 2019 Dickerson Zinfandel is pure Zinfandel. Brilliant, but not dark in color. Bright red currents, raspberry fruit and baking spice scents with hints of mint and cedar aromas are supported by the subtle vanilla and toast of the French oak (40% new). Bright, mouthwatering and juicy on the palate, the wine finishes with soft tannins that are pleasing and do not detract from the freshness or purity of this wine.
