Wine Review: This opaque and dark ruby colored Zinfandel from Once and Future opens with a campfire, black olive and black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied and balanced. The flavor profile is a refined mineral and light red plum blend with notes of old oak. We also detected hints of black tea and cardamom. The finish is rather dry and its tannins stick around for a very long time. The Panel suggested pairing this food friendly Zin with a blackened grouper or meatloaf. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The 2017 is dark and aromatic. Lots of bright cherry, blackberry, and vibrant flavors combined with a juicy, mouthwatering finish.
