Wine Review: This approachable Napa County Cabernet Sauvignon is a good introductory wine for someone just getting into red wine. It is transparent and deep purple color, with aromas of blackberry, blueberry pie, leather, bay leaf, spearmint, and roses. Quite ripe and lush on the palate, it is extracted, fruit focused and balanced, with medium-plus body and medium acidity. There are flavors of cassis, blackberry, toasty oak, and vanilla. I also detected some notes of black cherry, herbal tea, and coffee mixed in. It has round tannins, and a fruity, long finish. Enjoy a pour of this Cab with your favorite pub burger. - Mark
