Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Riesling from Nik Weis opens with a Vaseline and pineapple bouquet with hints of grapefruit and apricot. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, slightly viscous, bright, and fresh. The flavor profile is a white peach and lime blend with notes of ginger and chalky minerality. We also detected hints of green apple and a touch of honey. The finish is dry, and its refreshing flavors and acidity linger and last for quite a while. The Tasting Panel would pair this Riesling with sushi. Enjoy - KWGTP
