Wine Review: This Malbec from Nieto Senetiner is a nice everyday offering. It is ink red colored. It opens with an inviting bouquet of blackberries and oak along with hints of vanilla and light black pepper. It is medium bodied and displays smooth, slightly dry, blackberry flavors along with oak and some nice dark chocolate. The nice tannins help provide this wine with its nice balance and structure. The finish is smooth and slightly dry with nice tannins and coffee overtones. I would have this wine with a nice Italian fettuccine with lamb meat sauce. - Joe
Winemaker Notes: Well defined and intense wine, deep red color and good intensity. Its notes of small red fruits, plum and figs blend with the vanilla and tobacco aroma resulting from its aging in French oak. It has a strong personality in the mouth, a distinguished, harmonious and sensual body. We recommend drinking it with: grilled red meat, pasta with tomato sauces, pork, game birds, and semi-cured cheese.
