Wine Review: This dark red colored wine opens with a black cherry and black olive bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced and very approachable. The flavor profile is a gentle tart black cherry with nicely integrated mild minerality. I also detected hints of red plum and black olive in the background. The finish is dry and its well-managed mild tannins fade away nicely. This wine is very food friendly. I would pair it with Italian beef braciole. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Intense ruby hues announce a nose of sour cherry, blackberry and blackcurrant followed by rose petals and a touch of black pepper. The velvety tannins accompany a plush palate. The rich flavour fuses perfectly with a structure vaunting an acid note bringing freshness and length. Recommended with mature cheese and with first courses with savoury meat-based sauces, or mains of roast or barbecued meat.
