Wine Review: This deep purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon based wine opens with a black currant, graphite, and new leather bouquet with hints of blackberry, damp earth, and clove. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with nicely integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, and lush. The flavor profile is a graphite influenced black currant and black tea blend with notes of cedar and black cherry. The finish is dry, and its moderate polished tannins linger nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this Cab blend with New York strip steak or a steak Florentine. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Deep ruby color with a purple hue. Notes of black fruit, bay leaf and sage mingle with iodine and oyster shell characteristics, creating an extremely complex and pleasant bouquet. Wonderful now, but can age for another two decades.
