Wine Review: This almost clear colored dry-styled Muscat Blanc opens with mild grapefruit bouquet with a hint of Anjou pear and lychee. The flavors profile is a tart tangerine and gentle lychee blend with hints of green apple and grapefruit. The finish is dry and its flavors last for quite some time. This wine is friendly and would pair perfectly with steamed Nova Scotia mussels with a garlic wine broth. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Summer and fall were cool in Anderson Valley in 2011, so when the grapes were physiologically ripe, they had lower sugars than usual, but with balanced acidity. The wine's low alcohol, bone-dry finish and orange-like flavors make it a perfect match for grilled springtime veggies or a bowl of spicy jambalaya.
