Wine Review: This light pale gold colored Chenin from South Africa is a Good everyday offering. It opens with a mild Bosc pear bouquet with a hint of green apple. On the palate, this wine is balanced and easy going. The flavor profile is a minerality influenced green pear. The finish is rather dry and pleasant. This wine is not a fruit bomb, but is versatile and friendly. I would pair it with grilled ham and melted cheddar sandwich. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Abundant peach and tropical fruit aromas with exotic floral notes follow through on the luscious palate of this alluring Chenin Blanc. It’s packed with intense, mouthwatering flavors of apricot, pineapple and lychee, backed by hints of peach pit and almond. Lovely floral and ginger spice nuances carry through on the bright finish. A touch of late harvest Chenin Blanc adds considerable richness and complexity, with plenty of fresh acidity keeping it lively on the palate.
