Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Sauvignon Blanc from Mulderbosch opens with a green pear, green pepper, and truffle bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and slightly viscous. The flavor profile is a very mild lime and green bean with a faint touch of grapefruit and honey on the back palate. The finish is dry and pleasant. The panel suggested pairing this wine with brie, a tuna casserole, or grilled swordfish smothered in a citrus salsa. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: This racy bottling single-handedly put South Africa on the map as a source of world class Sauvignon Blanc. Vivid tropical fruit aromas give way to succulent, mouth-filling flavors of guava, lychee, gooseberry, lime, and fresh cut grass, supported by a bracing jolt of acidity.
