Wine Review: This medium straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc opens with a fragrant gooseberry bouquet with hints of asparagus, dill and a hint of yellow grapefruit. On the palate, this wine is light bodied with zesty plus acidity. The edges are round and nicely coat your mouth even with the elevated acidity. The flavor profile is a mild yellow grapefruit and lime blend with notes of saline and nicely integrated stony minerality. There is are also hints of asparagus melon, and lemon that appear in the aftertaste. The finish was impressive. It was dry, refreshing and mouthwatering. It fades away nicely. This Sauvignon Blanc would pair well with Fishbones Seafood Mediterranean or grilled swordfish skewers on a hot summer day. Enjoy - Ken & Joe
Winemaker Notes: Color: Pale straw.
Nose: Fresh citrus aromas with notes of lime leaf and scented black currant.
Palate: A beautifully balanced wine. The front palate is juicy and lingering with concentrated fruit flavors. The crisp grapefruit-like acidity extends the palate to a long mouth-watering finish.
