Wine Review: This ruby colored red blend from Merriam opens with a black raspberry and stony minerality bouquet with hints of mocha. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and juicy. The flavor profile is a cherry licorice and boysenberry blend with notes of oak and stony minerality. We also detected hints of mushroom and plum. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity and dusty tannins stick around for a while. The Tasting Panel would pair this Red Blend with grilled steak tips. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Notes of bright black fruits such as blackberry and plum lead the nose, accompanied by hints of cranberry and tobacco leaf. This wine offers a firm tannic structure along with a soft, silky texture, making it perfect for daily enjoyment.
