Wine Review: This white gold colored Sauvignon Blanc opens with gooseberry and Honeydew melon bouquet with a hint of grapefruit. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is round and juicy. The flavor profile is a gooseberry and pineapple blend with notes of integrated chalky minerality and Honeydew melon. We also detected hints of Anjou pear, lemon, and ginger. The finish is dry, refreshing, and nicely extended. This Sauvignon Blanc would pair well with swordfish skewers or crab cakes.
